The Tenth Bayesian, Fiducial and Frequentist conference (BFF10) will be held on July 10–11, 2026, at the NaWi – University of Salzburg, Austria. The conference will take place in Lecture Hall 402 (“Blue Auditorium”).
The focus of this year’s conference is on fostering dialogue and exchange between Bayesian, Fiducial, and Frequentist approaches to statistical inference, with an emphasis on both theoretical developments and practical applications. BFF10 continues the tradition of bringing together researchers from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, all in one place.
BFF10 will be held directly after the IMS Annual Meeting in Salzburg, making it convenient for participants to attend both meetings. The single-track format, with all talks held in one lecture hall and no parallel sessions, is designed to encourage focused discussion and interaction among participants.
The conference will feature a keynote lecture by Richard Samworth, along with several invited talks covering a broad range of topics in Bayesian, Fiducial, and Frequentist statistics. A detailed list of speakers and the full scientific program will be announced once finalized.
In addition to the scientific program, the conference will include social events aimed at promoting informal interaction among participants. A conference dinner will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Sternbräu Salzburg. A pre-conference reception is planned for July 9, 2026 (to be confirmed).
Join us for BFF10 to engage in discussions on foundational questions and modern challenges in statistical inference, and to strengthen connections within the Bayesian, Fiducial, and Frequentist communities. Further details and updates will be provided on the conference website as they become available.
