The Ninth Bayesian, Fiducial and Frequentist Conference (BFF9) will be held on May 12–14, 2025, hosted by the Department of Statistics at Purdue University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This conference continues the BFF tradition of fostering collaboration among statisticians and data scientists working in Bayesian, Fiducial, and Frequentist inference. The event will feature keynote and invited talks, contributed sessions, panel discussions, poster presentations, and a banquet lecture.
BFF9 provides a platform for sharing recent advances in statistical methodology, computation, and theory, with a special focus on statistical inference in the era of AI. Topics include causal inference, modern data science, fairness and robustness, nonparametric methods, and computational challenges in large-scale data.
Keynote speakers include Xihong Lin (Harvard University), Karen Lynn Price (Eli Lilly), and Jun Liu (Harvard University & Tsinghua University). The banquet lecture will be given by Xiaoli Meng (Harvard University).
The conference is supported by Purdue University, the American Statistical Association (ASA), the National Institute of Statistical Sciences (NISS), and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
